Daltonian celebrates the company's 29th birthday by choosing this time to introduce our new rug program. Since April 1984 when the company was founded by the Mauldin family, Daltonian has always been known to offer high quality wall to wall broadloom carpet and dense, polyurethane carpet cushion. In the early 1990's we were one of the first importers of synthetic woven patterned carpets and have continued offering those products even today. Now for the first time Daltonian is unveiling its innovative collection of rugs. To view these patterns return to our home page and click on "Products" then click on "Contemporary Rug Gallery". Within the next 30 to 60 days we will expand this rug program by adding a collection of Traditional rugs and runners made using our best selling broadloom patterns. Thanks for visiting with us.

Opera Collection now offered for the first time in the USA. The sleek, beautiful woven wilton loop pile carpet, is now offered solely by Daltonian. As durable, as it is distinctive, this exceptional carpet is made using a unique solution dyed nylon, "Econyl", from Aquafil. "Econyl" nylon is manufactured using post-industrial and post-consumer nylon 6 waste material, making it 100% sustainable, with no loss in performance whatsoever. Carpets made from Econyl yarn will exceed expectations in performance, aesthetics, and durability.

New Wall Covering Products Introduced

Daltonian has increased their wall covering offerings by adding 2 new products, Granular and Pillar. Both styles are available in the same 15 colorways and are part of the new Artisan Wall Collection. All Daltonian wall coverings are made of recycled polyester fiber and pass the most stringent flammability tests including the Corner Burn test UBC 8-2 and NFPA 265.

Unique display now offered for presenting Daltonian's beautiful new 2012 Vernon House Woven Collection. The present collection consists of 17 styles, each shown on a sturdy 24" x 18" card and placed in the new display. This all-wood unit is hand carved, made to be shipped inexpensively by UPS (approximately 55 lbs. shipping wt.), requires less than 3' floor space, and installs easily without needing any nails, screws, or hammers. These trendy products offer the unique combination of a natural sisal look with the practicality of easy cleanability and underfoot comfort. New California Law about Recycling Carpet and Carpet Tiles

Last September, the state of CA passed a bill entitled California AB 2398 whereby flooring retailers and contractors selling carpets and carpet tiles in California must bill and collect 5 cents per sq yd from all customers as of July 1, 2011. All manufacturers are required to invoice this .05 per sq yd to all California customers. This charge will be called a CA Carpet Stewardship Assessment. There will be civil penalties of up to $1000 per day for retailers who do not comply with this law. These monies will be used for recycling used carpet and keeping that discarded carpet from landfills. More information will follow.
