Daltonian History

Founded in 1984 by Vernon R. Mauldin, Daltonian Flooring Inc. was originally known as Daltonian Carpets and Cushion.  It was started in Dalton, Ga as a manufacturer of high quality polyurethane carpet cushion.  In 1990 the company expanded its product offerings when it began importing woven patterned carpets from Europe.  Since that time these beautiful patterned carpets have been installed in thousands of homes, restaurants, hotels, clubs, and churches throughout the US.  Today the company has expanded into offering custom patterns in wool/nylon blends as well as loop pile woven wiltons in nylon fibers.  Most stocked patterns are available in solution dyed polypropylene fibers.  

As a family owned corporation Daltonian has a strong desire to protect the environment. With that in mind, we make every effort to offer products with "green" properties.  Daltonian products are manufactured worldwide and sold nationally through our very experienced sales force.
