Daltonian Flooring has added a new line into our product base. Woven Woolester, it is the marriage of wool and polyester.... an ideal blend of natural and synthetic fiber.
Wool is the Fabric of History, with inherent characteristics that have stood the test of time. Characteristics such as: durable fiber strength, excellent appearance retention, innate soil, stain and flame resistance, luxurious "hand", excellent clean ability, and it is environmentally sustainable.
Polyester is the most widely sold manufactured fiber in the world. It is used in tires, belts and hoses. It is a synthetic fiber with inherent characteristics like: excellent fiber strength, suitable appearance retention, resistance to water-soluble stains, color clarity and colorfastness, enjoying a luxurious "hand", mildew resistance, and it is the most heavily recycled polymer in the world. Polyester has a high strength-to-weight ratio, resisting stretching and shrinking. When blended with wool, modified PET is used to achieve deeper and richer shades of color.
The wool and polyester in our Woolester fulfill each other. The blend of Wool and Polyester enhance the characteristics of one another. They are a good marriage....... offering Quality, Style, Color and Global Environmental Friendliness.
